Fire Truck Parade & Muster
Mile High Hook & Ladder, in partnership with South Metro Fire Rescue, is gearing up for its milestone 40th Annual Fire Truck Parade & Muster on Saturday, June 13. The Muster is a community celebration for our hometown heroes–the first responders, wildland and urban firefighters, EMS (Emergency Management Service) personnel, and 911 dispatchers who make our neighborhoods safe. This free, fun, family-friendly AND educational event takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The parade begins at 9 a.m. at the corner of S. Bannock and Littleton Blvd. where a procession of antique fire rigs and modern fire/rescue apparatus will sound their sirens, head west on Littleton Blvd. down Main Street, turn on South Curtice St., then “muster” (gather) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Arapahoe Community College. Watch a riveting “Jaws of Life” demonstration and thrilling medical helicopter landing. Browse the Muster Marketplace for health and safety tips; enjoy junior firefighter games and much more!
