Event Guidelines
Each submission will be reviewed to ensure it follows these guidelines.
- The VISIT LITTLETON website publicizes community-wide, public events presented by the City of Littleton and its community partners, as well asĀ events presented at city-owned venues including Bemis Public Library, Littleton Museum, Depot Art Gallery, and Town Hall Arts Center.
- The website publicizes local Littleton events, such as nature programs, gallery exhibits, concerts, public sports and fitness events, cultural arts and theater performances, festivals, farmer’s markets, street fairs, parades, etc.
- The website cannot publicize political events, school events, individual business events, or private events including meetings, services, classes, programs, workshops, sales, specials, etc.
- Events must be in the Littleton city limits.
- VISIT LITTLETON reserves the right at its discretion, to edit or reject event submissions without notice, that do not follow these guidelines.
- The event organizer submitting the event is responsible for its accuracy. For any event updates or cancellations, the organizer must email VISIT LITTLETON at info@visitlittleton.org and include event title and date. Failure to notify VISIT LITTLETON of event changes may lead to rejection of future event submissions from that organization.
- All events must include an image. To avoid undesirable image cropping, images should be approximately 800 X 500 pixels @ 72dpi.
- Beginning July 1, 2024, all state and local government agencies in Colorado must be in compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines when creating and publishing online content. All images uploaded to the VISIT LITTLETON site must include “Alt Text” that clearly describes the appearance, meaning, or function of the image. If your image is an “infographic” containing mostly text about your event, please include all the text information from the graphic in the Event Description field. Submissions that do not follow these ADA guidelines will be rejected without notice.
