Visit Littleton promotes events and programs that enhance the visitor experience, support local businesses, and contribute to the cultural and economic vitality of our city.
How Visit Littleton Helps Promote Events
Approved events may be considered for promotion through:
- Visit Littleton’s online events calendar
- Visit Littleton social media channels
These are premier opportunities to reach both residents and visitors. Please note that submission does not guarantee promotion through all channels.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for promotion, your event or program must meet the following criteria:
- Be located within Littleton city limits
- Be open to the general public
- Have visitor appeal and align with Visit Littleton’s tourism-focused mission
- Be organized by a clearly identified individual, business, nonprofit, or community
- group
- Be inclusive and open to all without discrimination
- Comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Events that typically qualify include festivals, races, concerts, exhibits, tastings, performances, and community celebrations such as harvest festivals, holiday bazaars, and craft fairs.
Events We Typically Do Not Include
The following are generally not eligible for promotion:
- Fundraisers or charity events (such as benefit dinners or golf tournaments)
- Daily dining specials or happy hours (except for select holidays such as Mother’s Day or Thanksgiving)
- Private, invitation-only, or members-only events, classes, or workshops
- Ongoing daily tours (contact us to learn about alternative promotion opportunities)
- Real estate open houses, pet adoptions, or ticket reseller events
- Events with political, religious, or adult themes
- Events that are restricted or prohibited by law
Submission Guidelines & Review Process
For best consideration:
- Submit your request at least two months prior to your event start date (especially for banner placement).
- Allow 2–3 business days for review.
Once your submission is received, our team will review it to ensure it includes all required details and meets our promotional criteria. You will receive an email confirmation once approved.
If your event is canceled or changes, please notify us immediately at info@visitlittleton.org.
Visit Littleton reserves the right to edit submitted content for length, clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment.
Main Street Banner Guidelines
Main Street banner placement is a limited opportunity and not guaranteed.
- Banner requests should be submitted at least two months in advance
- All banner designs must be approved by Visit Littleton prior to production
- Event organizers are responsible for banner production costs
- Banners must meet City-approved size, material, and design standards
- Installation and removal timelines will be coordinated with approved organizers
Organizer Responsibility & Disclaimer
Promotion by Visit Littleton does not constitute event sponsorship or endorsement.
Event organizers are solely responsible for:
- Obtaining all required permits, licenses, and approvals
- Securing any necessary insurance
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Event safety, operations, and logistics
Visit Littleton is not an event producer or operator.
Right of Refusal
Visit Littleton reserves the right to approve, decline, edit, or remove event listings at our discretion, including if event information becomes inaccurate or no longer meets our promotional criteria.
Business Listings
To list your business on Visit Littleton, please review the business listing requirements. Businesses must be a brick-and-mortar retail location within Littleton city limits.
