Divine Bovine

Join us on Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Divine Bovine, where you will learn about the importance of working cattle and their roles providing milk, muscle, and meat in 19th century Littleton. It’s a fun day for all ages and there is no charge for admission.

Activities include:

  • 19th century demonstrations by historical interpreters in period garb.
  • See the Beers Sisters’ Icehouse interior and learn how five sisters ran a successful dairy business in turn of the century Littleton.
  • Try your hand at churning butter!
  • Learn how oxen (which are bovines) made the Santa Fe Trail possible.
  • … and more!
