The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director Jeff Vespa and doc participants Kiki and Kallie Leyba, along with Colorado State Representative Gretchen Rydin, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The panel will be moderated by Columbine High School teacher Jeff Garkow.

“Columbine 2024” is a 36-minute short documentary directed by Jeff Vespa that explores the lasting impact of the Columbine High School shooting. The film follows the story of Columbine teacher Kiki Leyba and his wife Kallie, and how their lives were changed forever on April 20th, 1999. Spanning two decades, this film provides a nuanced glimpse into how individuals cope with unfathomable loss and trauma.
