An Immigrant Experience
Join Bemis Library and Colorado Refugee Connect for a conversation with Maryam Abdilah, who lived as a refugee in Turkey before coming to the United States. She is passionate about writing stories with true-to-life messages and recently published her first book and is working on the second. She graduated from the Community College of Denver with an Associate of Art Psychology, and continued her education at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
