Lucile's Creole Cafe

Named for the owner’s mother, Lucile’s serves a Creole menu for breakfast and lunch in a charming house on the South Platte River. Favorite menu items include the Cajun breakfast (red beans, poached eggs, hollandaise, and grits) and eggs New Orleans (fried eggplant, poached eggs, Creole spice, and hollandaise), and eggs Pontchartrain (fresh pan-fried mountain trout, poached eggs, sauce bearnaise, grits or potatoes, and a buttermilk biscuit)—not to mention the beignets.
