Lee Gulch Overlook, Trailhead & Trail

This peaceful gravel path connects the Mary Carter Greenway along the South Platte River to the High Line Canal trail, offering an easy way to traverse east to west through Littleton. Walkers, hikers, and bikers may see overarching trees, waterfalls, a beautiful lake, ducks, rabbits, and an abundance of birds on this well-marked trail. The trail travels through grasslands, suburban neighborhoods, parks, and a tunnel under Santa Fe Drive. The west end of Lee Gulch features an overlook that offers gorgeous panoramic views of the South Platte River and Rocky Mountains. Park at the Lee Gulch Overlook to start at the west end or near Horseshoe Park at West Dry Creek Court to start at the east end. You also can easily pick up this trail from a park or neighborhood along the way.
