Mass of The Children
The members of Voices West are thrilled to collaborate with Denver Children’s Choir for the first time in our October 2025 performance of Mass of the Children by John Rutter!
As Willy Wonka is to his Chocolate Factory, so John Rutter is to the choral world … the purveyor of enchanting, sweet – and sometimes quirky – melodies loved by all. The Mass of the Children is a chocolate river that flows lusciously and colorfully with beautiful poetry intermingled with traditional mass texts. The adult choir and children’s choir parts are woven together seamlessly and the result is a veritable candy shop of beautiful choral sounds.
Two performances:
Friday, October 12 at 7:30 p.m. – Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S Datura St, Littleton, CO 80120
Sunday, October 14 at 3 p.m. – St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, 1401 E. Dry Creek Rd., Centennial. The Sunday performance will be livestreamed.
