South Platte Park After Dark

Gather around a cozy campfire for a night of storytelling, s’mores, and adventure. As the stars come out, enjoy tales, roast marshmallows, and then take a short, guided walk through the park after dark.
This program is for ages 6 and up. Enjoy learning about the animals that roam the night! What sounds do they make and why? What special adaptations do they have that help them navigate our forests at night! Take a walk and listen for some of the animals that call South Platte Park home. Dress for the forecast with sturdy shoes. No flashlights or pets permitted. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
