Sterne Park

This large park, tucked into a neighborhood just east of Downtown Littleton, is like three parks in one. The south end offers plenty of space to run and play (or hold a concert and fireworks), the middle features a colorful playground and shelter with barbecues, and the north side boasts horseshoe pits and a small shelter on the lake. The walking path around the lake is a favorite with locals, especially as they can cross the street and explore the War Memorial Rose Garden as well. Stop at nearby Bacon Social for breakfast, lunch, or brunch then walk it off at the park, or pick up sandwiches from Romano’s or hot dogs from Harley’s for a picnic.
